Alte Schule - The Old school

Built around 1750, this building served as a small village school for a long time, as the name suggests. In a rural idyll in the middle of the picturesque Black Forest, pupils were introduced to values, knowledge and life.

After the school bell was rung for the last time in around 1890, silence fell upon this lovely little gem. Not until 2016 was this unique location fully and lovingly restored, with great attention to detail and as an event location and the headquarters of Gütermann Consulting. Far away from hustle and bustle of day-to-day business, here you will find the peace and quiet and the perspective that it takes to achieve great things, to look to the future together or simply to unwind.
